4th of July in South Dakota

Growing up, the 4th of July was always a HUGE celebration. The parade with endless candy and water balloons, the best food at grandma’s house, quality time with all of the cousins, the rodeo, the carnival rides, funnel cakes, and the best firework show in the country. This summer I got to travel back to my little home in the Black Hills of South Dakota and not only get to celebrate one of my favorite holidays, but also got to celebrate one of my favorite people- my grandpa. My grandpa celebrated an exciting birthday this summer and we all got to shower him in love, favorite memories, gratitude, and quality time. This man is one of the hardest workers I have ever met and is always sacrificing in some way in order to love his friends and family. Here are a few pictures of this sweet time with my family this summer. I am so grateful for my camera that allows me to hold onto these special memories forever.
