North Carolina Botanical Garden Engagement Session- Alex and Tiffany

I first met Alex and Tiffany earlier this year when they started coming to our church in Durham and they quickly became great friends to Saile and I. When they approached me about photographing their engagement photos and wedding I was so honored! As we started planning their engagement photos, they shared with me that they had one of their first dates in NC at the North Carolina Botanical Gardens so it was an easy decision to pick this beautiful location for their session! This was my first time visiting the gardens and I loved the location. It is located in Chapel Hill near UNC campus and it has lots of trails and pretty locations for photos. We had so much fun exploring all the different parts of the gardens and spent so much time laughing and catching up on life. We stayed until the gardens closed and we even stayed a few minutes after because one of the staff members wanted to show us the Children’s Wonder Garden that was filled with butterflies and hummingbirds. It was a magical moment as the sun set and hummingbirds flew all around pollinating the flowers.

I would highly recommend this location if you are looking for somewhere to take engagement photos or even family photos! Photographers- if you end up deciding to take photos at the NC Botanical Gardens, be sure that you fill out a reservation form ahead of time, pay the small fee for photo sessions, and respect the facility’s photography policies. I would also recommend following up and calling the Gardens if you do not get a response after submitting the form.

I am so excited for Alex and Tiffany’s wedding next summer at The Evermore in Apex, North Carolina! It is going to be a beautiful day and I am so grateful to be able to photograph this special season of their lives.
